I’m finally starting to feel caught up and excited to be back to blogging. Today I’m excited to share Tiffany and Ryan’s engagement session! They met on a beach in Canada one summer while visiting family and would spend the days riding jet skis and relaxing in the sand, so it was only perfect that we held their Engagement Session at Metro Beach. Part of what made this session one of my favorites was that they agreed to a Sunrise session! This was a first for me and I loved it so much that I’m hoping more of my clients will want to hold their session at Sunrise. We met up at Metro Beach at 5:45, (yes in the morning!), the light was so pretty and everything was so calm and quite and their lack of sleep did not stop them from looking anything but amazing….
Another exciting thing about this session is that it was featured on Engaged Wedding Blog this morning!

Love the sun peeking up in these…

I typically prefer natural light, but I brought along my off camera lighting equipment knowing I would need it to do something like this. So glad I did, I love the sunrise in the background!

Ryan’s last name is Kok (pronounced Coke), so Tiffany thought that including the glass bottles would be fun and I couldn’t agree more!

Yes, I still love Weeping Willow trees!

So sweet and romantic…

Don’t we all wish we could look this good at this hour of the morning?!?!

One more favorite of mine…
So this post is actually going to be two separate sessions in one because you know. I’m still playing catch up here. I swear if my blog was a person, it would hate me for always letting it slip. I’m working on it. I have lots of galleries to send out and albums to design and I’m trying really hard to not fall too far behind here. And just so you know, galleries have already gone out for almost everything you see here. I promise a 4-5 week turnaround time during wedding season and I meet that. Sometimes barely and by the skin of my teeth, but I do. My goal for my blog is to have every session posted within 2 weeks. Unfortunately that one needs some work. Maybe once I get caught up, I’ll be able to work on that more.
Anyways, back to the post at hand. I’ve been working with this adorable little beauty since she was born and I was stoked when Juliet contacted me for her 2 year portraits. I love documenting these precious babies grow turn into little people and I love that they start to remember me.

I’m pretty sure she was about to tell on me for something here…

I’m in love with Lucy’s gorgeous blue eyes…

And her laugh…

Now I’d like to introduce you to Lucy’s new baby brother Athrun. What a sweet baby boy!

At only 11 days old, he already doesn’t want to miss a thing and stayed awake for a good part of our session.

If you remember from a previous post Jeremy is currently deployed overseas, thankfully he was able to be home on R&R for this precious time.

Love this one of Lucy soothing her baby brother

It took a while, but baby Athrun finally fell asleep

I’ll wrap up this post with this last image. The. Entire. Family. Together.
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing an “old” friend’s family and capturing this little cutie in celebration of his 3rd birthday! I was so excited when Dana had contacted me, it had been quite a few years since I’ve seen her. It was great catching up and so fun meeting Noah and Chris. Chris and I had lots to talk about since he’s a wedding DJ with BigFoot DJs who I just worked with a few days before their session at Jenna & Jordan’s wedding. We met up at George George park with some fun balloons, and a ton of exercise chasing this busy little guy around!

This was Noah most of our session. I know he keeps Mom & Dad busy, he’s always on the go!
