One day Becky’s friend called her up wanting to go out for a quick drink. She wasn’t really in the mood, but her friend persisted even using the “You never know who you’re going to meet” angle. Well it worked. And they went.
John just happened to be at the same place with his sisters and friends and couldn’t take his eyes off of Becky, but was too shy to approach her. So his sisters and friend decided to take matters into their own hands. John’s sisters started it off by introducing themselves to Becky, but then his friend decided that wasn’t enough and got Becky to dance with him in hopes to break the ice. Everyone had a plan of attack but John. As they were walking off the dance floor, they were literally pushed into each other and that’s how Becky & John first met in 2008. And 2 1/2 years later, they are now married!
It was a beautiful morning and as was on my way to meet the girls at the salon, Becky called with a little change of plans. Remember the storm I mentioned? Well the next day most of Shelby Township was out of power. Thankfully The Palazzo Grande had a generator and were kind enough to let the girls get ready in the bridal suite. It was a little tight, but the girls from Runway salon pulled it off and did a magnificent job!

Becky, John was right. You are beautiful!

Being we were already at the reception hall, this made capturing all of the details easy. Everything looked amazing and I loved the tropical theme!

The ceremony was at the Whitehouse Chapel in Warren. It’s filled with windows so you get great natural light and the grounds are set up perfectly for portraits!

Becky’s flower girls were the sweetest things. They were constantly hugging and kissing on her and bringing her flowers. So cute!

I loved how they included John’s daughter Camryn in the ceremony.

Afterwards we headed to Yate’s for some portraits.

This is one of my favorite images from the day!

Scott from JD Entertainment rocked the dance floor all night!
